 Rescue animals, defeat enemies and discover your true, hidden abilities.


Features

This demo includes the first two levels of the game, but if you complete the collectables, a challenging boss level will become available.

There are three hidden animals to discover in the levels, explore the game to find them.

      Both keyboard and controller are supported, controller is recommended.


TWO PLAYER Co-Op is included, just plug in a second controller and hold  Y/ Triangle in the menu to spawn the second player.

The animation in this is DELICIOUS, and it has a unique story! I wish there was a little more background to the beginning though. Like why did our parents (presumably) leave? What caused the destruction? What was the monster in the background? Ect.

Recently updated my OS to Win11, so I'm not sure if that's a root cause. Ailuri Demo crashes on launch so I can't get past the Unity loading splashpage. Looks to be a lovely little game, I hope to have better luck entering it soon :)

game is cute, but (at least on M1 mac) prone to crashing, so i can’t actually play it :c

i’ve got an intel mac lying around somewhere, so if i can find that i’ll have to see if it runs well there

Is the demo already optimized?

In the title menu for this demo, everything works as it should.  I have a mouse pointer and hear music and sfx.  When I click "begin", however, I'm just presented with a black screen.  No mouse pointer or music.  I can hit ESC and get the settings menu, but I still get no visual mouse pointer which makes selecting the options in the settings menu difficult.  I do get sfx from the buttons in the settings menu.  I tried changing some video options, but nothing helped, the main game screen just stays black.  Perhaps there is a cut scene that is supposed to be loading but isn't?  Using Linux Mint 20.

The ~/.config/unity3d/Editor/Player.log shows the following when I click "Begin":

I am a sucker for all things cute and this game was CUTE from start to finish with a very strong message of awareness. Very good game with great graphics and tunes which intensifies at the right moments, can get a little emotional but that is how you spread awareness, can't wait for the full game to drop

This game is beautiful. I love this art style. I basically don't know anything about games, so I can't speak about level design. But it has positive reviews so I think it's good. But there is one thing that makes it unplayable: the input lag. It is really long between button press and reaction. I am using Xbox Series controller connected by Bluetooth.

Thank you for playing our Halloween Demo!

I made a small review in Spanish for my YouTube channel, anyway I will comment a little here about what I think of the game.

In short, the game is beautiful, it has a lot of art and an incredible setting, the animations are just as beautiful as some cartoons and movies that we saw as children in the 90's or before (like bambi).

The soundtrack is also beautiful and I like that they have put a sanctuary where we can listen to the soundtrack.

I think that what falters the most is in the gameplay, I feel a bit uncomfortable with the dash system (which after a while you get used to it and you end up understanding that it has a waiting time until you can use it again).

The only thing that "really" I "complained" about is the drastic change in difficulty in the secret level, but for the rest I love it and I hope to get it on steam soon!

After playing this for about 2 hours, I just wanna say, gameplay is very nice and fun. Some fixes: I would love to be able to customize the movement/action keys because that would really help me with this. I have no other problems with the game:)

Cute and lovely. I'm always happy to see hand-drawn sprite art and cutscenes and I LOVE having more co-op games available.

I hope the button displays will be adaptive in the final version, as it took me some time to realise that my dash and attack buttons were opposite to what the prompts showed. (I played with a PS3 controller over USB, default mapping.)

We'll update our controller mapping for PS controllers in a future update, thank you for letting us know.

Hello, I am one of your donators. I test your game and I think the power with the B button ( with xbox game pad controller )  must be improved. I used it to go further after a jump like a "second jump" and sometimes it doesn't work like that and you fall off quick. For the secret level I have got a bug that the tree doesn't touch the creature and I think there is some scrolling problem during this level. The fire effect is a bit ugly compared to all the global design. I spend a good time on the demo and I can't wait to paly the full game
